Tinting & Perming?

Im at college having to provide a tint and perm assignment, having alot of trouble with some of the criterias i have to cover.
If anyone could help me i would be very grateful as i've been googling questions and looking through alot of books for it!

What is the chemical process of tinting?
How does the natural hair colour affect the colour choice of tint?
Which products can be used to soothe tint and brow shaping irritation?
Aftercare?
