hi all
Has anybody ever used coloured/glitter acrylic with the tip and dip system i currently use the edge and whilst its ok i really like nsi products but i cant find any nsi resin or activator for acrylic only fiberglass or silk.
So firstly do the coloured/glitter acrylics work with that system and secondly do nsi do a tip and dip acrylic system :D
thanks to all that read and reply its much appreciated from this newby:D

Hi hun,

i have done the edge tip and dip course and i use NSI. i have used the colour powders and they look fantastic.

you can use the silk/fibreglass activator and resin for the acrylic tip and dip its exactly the same. i think it does state that in your manual but i checked with me egde educator and she said it was fine and ive tried it and it is exactly the same!

hth,
anything else let me know hun

When you use colour powders Jodie, do you do the whole nail in colour or just the tip?

generally the whole nail. if the client wanted a different colour tip e.g glitter etc then i would use liquid and powder. its must easier to creat a perfect smile line. its not impossible to do - i know other people do it - i just prefer to use liquid and powder for this type of nail.

I use glitter acrylic all the time when doing my own tip n dip nails. I use french tips and use the glitter on 1 corner of each nail, then dip in clear... But i sprinkle instead of dip. However it works great and looks really effective. Clients are always commenting xx
