Tips for liaising with local businesses

I'm putting in a lot of thought at the moment about how I can raise the profile of and promote my mobile business once I get up and running.
I have noticed other similar businesses in my area seem to always be sharing on their Facebook page about events they've been involved with with other local businesses or causes, such as florists, photographers or kids entertainers.
Does anyone have any tips about making contact ?

Purchasing something from them is a good way to show you're genuine.

Hi there. I'm currently looking into doing the same. I have drafted up a couple of letters and sent a couple via their FB page and plan to get the others email addresses to send them via those.
How are you getting on as this post was in April. [emoji4]
