Tips lost from middle fingers

Hi there

It would seem that both my models have lost tips from their middle fingers, any ideas why this is?

Its your longest finger and some of my cleints break this more than others...
 
Yeah I guess it's subjected to more bangs and knocks.

Just to confirm that that is usually the cause of the prob, I have a few clients who so kickboxing and their middle fingers take the strain, so I always make these nails slightly shorter than the rest.
 
They are definately the nails that take most knocks i think, those and the ring fingers as people tend to use them as tools.....i know its wrong, but people do. Best to keep them slightly shorted then less likely to break them.
