For some reasons I've been getting a string of nail biters for the last week, and they all want extensions and refuse to have anything else...

Since I am not confident enough to do sculpts with no free edge, I've been using CND's performance tips, but so far two of them have come back with serious lifting from the free edge :(

I know the skin where the free edge should be is pushing the tip up... is there anything else I can do? It's getting me down!

You need to 'saddle' the tip to make it fit better by taking some out of the side walls to ensure the swollen hyponychium does not push up against the tip and cause the tip to come off.

The end of the finger is often slightly swollen due to it constantly being in the mouth and is soaked with saliva.

Here's how to do it.....
