hi just wondering where I could get some good toe nail tips as I want to start doing french tips on toes this summer. (lady want french gels on her toes) she already comes to me for her nails.
I have been buying my nail tips from essential nails as my trainer used dream products, but I find my tips keep cracking or breaking so I want to change my tips. thankfully they are ok on clients at the moment its just when I put the tips on me they split and break. what tips do you use?

hi sharon
i dont use tips when im doing gel on toes as most people dont want length on the toes they just want the french look.
what i do is buff lightly over the nail
and prep as normal
then i add a thin layer of clear or pink and cure
then add white gel and cure
followed by gloss gel as i find u dont need the strength of a builder gel as there is no lenght and no real stress area on a toe nail.

thanks ciara for replying, did not really want to tip the nails so I will suggest doing it without the tips.

If you need to extend, you can just sculpt. No need to buy special tips for toes!

I find that sometimes clients that want a french look on the toes, have too short a nail for this to look nice, so I extend a touch with white, I dont even use a form. If any has touched the skin then after I have finished I use solar oil to work it away from the skin. Also because I may only be touching the skin once there is little risk of overexpossure!
