Hello...I just got a booking for next friday for toe nails enhancement. I have done a little research on te website and found that lots of you prefer sculpting to tipping toes.

I havent done sculpting before, I tried on myself many times but never on toenails.

what steps do you follow when sculpting a toe nail?
Do you think I should tip them?

I never really done toenails enhancements before, I am a bit nervous plus she is a new client so I wanna do perfect!...

any advice?...Thanks...:hug::hug::hug:

Are you sure you need to extend the length of the toenail? I think usually they are overlays. If they do need to be longer, and you're using L&P, you can sculpt the nail without forms. There is a tutorial here on creating a free edge, it will explain it.

I wouldn't be experimenting on a new client with a technique I hadn't tried before.

If you have never used forms on fingers then trying for the first time on toes will make you look unprofessional in front of your client, I think.

Do a natural nail overlay and if you need to extend the toenails, then just pat the product out a little further than the free edge onto the skin and leave to set.

Do you use gel or acrylic (l&p) ??

Yes I see what you mean...I wouldnt want to do that at all...I ll do as u say and try and build up free edge if she wants extra lenght.

I use CND Ret + L&P...doing my Brisa Gel on 23rd March so dont really want to suggest gel as I will have to use my old products...(appointment is on the 20thMarch)...
