Toner help

Hi everyone, feeling under pressure to get the exact toner mix for my friend next week I’ve been looking on here at old posts for inspiration I see a lot of different mixes that people use and I get overwhelmed.

I was going to go with either wella 10.6 not sure if I should add a bit of base 9 to that or a 10.12 dia light also with base. ? I don’t do a lot of bleach with toners so feeling a bit pressured, could anyone advise me please.

Equal amounts or 1part 9/16 +2parts 10/6 if you want a more subtle result. With 1.9%

Don’t suppose you took a picture did you ? [emoji1374]

I haven’t actually done it yet because I did a test to see how it would lift. And it took so long I didn’t really have tome to do all of it but this is it after nearly two hours before the toner.

I’m thinking it needed to be lighter as it wasn’t violet/purple enough for her so I was thinking about putting some 0/68 special mix in? Would that be the right thing to do. ?? Anyone ??

Adding 0/86 will deepen the colour, the mix tones are so dense.

You can, but the hair still needs to be a level 10 to achieve the colour above.

It does need to be lighter but have a look at Majirel Glow L.22 + 12.5 vol

yep it’s Loreal it’s gorgeous!

Yeah she was bleach underneath, we hadn’t done it for about 8 weeks so was a bit brassy so the toner cleaned it up nicely!

I ended up using 9.16 with a bit of 0/68 because it didn’t want to lift up as much as it needed to. I’m happy with the result and so is she. Thankyou to everyone who made suggestions. [emoji1360]
