Toning a highlift tint?

Morning all, can u use a toner on a tint if u don't get the desired result?
Also whats the best way to get a soft caramel on base 6 virgin hair, shall i bleach and tone ( which wella toner) or use a high lift tint ( wella, which one)

I use toner on high lifts sometimes, if you can get away without bleaching then take the high lift route. Try a 12.3 in wella if the hair is warm anyway, that will give a nice colour xoxo

If you want light your only gonna get upto a 10 with a high lift from a 6 so personally use bleach and 3% then tone if your using on scalp or 6% depends how light ur aiming x
