Toughen Up

Could you tell me please if Toughen Up dries to a matt or shiny finish?? I am guessing matt as it is a basecoat with added strengtheners (is that right?) but just wanted to check for sure?

Also, could I purchase this along with some girlfriend buffers even though I am not Creative trained?

It dries slightly matt but you could not use it on its own as it dries to a slightly tacky surface to act, like Stickey, as double sided tape for holding on to varnish.

Yes you can buy it without being Creative trained as long as you are trained somewhere appropriate.

If you check out the Technotes in the Articles section here there is information by Doug Schoon on the differences between Formaldehyde and DMU (the ingredient in Toughen Up).
