If you had a gift voucher for £50, what would you spend it on?

If you are like me, you would weigh up the pros and cons of everything, then try and squeeze in as many treatments for the money, then change my mind and go for something I wouldnt normall chose.

I'm off to a day spa as a present from my girlfriends, 3 of us turned 40 and we all chipped in so we could get the same present.

As part of the spa session I can choose something.

I would love a chocolate wrap, a dermologica facial or a exfoliation/wrap thingy.
but:rolleyes:
I love my feet being played with so could choose a foot thingy.

The spa uses Gerards, dermologica and some mineral make-up thingy.

I would have 1 thing completely luxurious that i wouldn't normally be able to justify.

I'd have an "all over" thing, so my whole body feels pampered.

Probably a new handbag, I am a handbag fanatic, or some nail art stuff.

A fabulous massage

I HAVE got a £50 voucher that hubby gave me for Mothers Day but I havent used it, have to use it in the next month but cant make up my mind what to have, so will be interested to hear what everyone would go for :green:
I am thinking of having a chocolate facial, what does everyone think?

It would have to be a luxurious full body massage and maybe (if some money leftover) a manicure! The body massage thing is something i really love getting but could not justify the expense. On the plus side i am going back to school in september to do my level 3 in beauty therapy can't wait loads of massages then:D

I would probably have a facial as I have never had one or a massage.

But I like other people doing my nails and feet, as I hate doing them myself.

I would go for some sort of scalp treatment because I LOVE having my scalp massaged. I even look forward to a haircut just for the hair wash. What a disappointment when it's just a quickie!

knowing me, I would probably spend it on my kids,:lol:

I would go for an all over massage too....one that took agessssssssss to do....

or a facial....with a manicure and pedicure....

But I would definitely go for something that I couldn't justify paying for normally....something wildly expensive!!!!

Well Ann, you are a bit of a chocoholic so why not have a choccie treatment as not so many places offer them? (Although if it's the same spa as previous occasions, the choc tmt wasn't as good as it could be)

When I book myself in the salon I usually have either a back massage or full body, depending on how much free time there is. I managed to get a mani & pedi yesterday which even that zonked me out. You can't beat the power of a good massage though:)

An all over body massage..that just lasts and a pedicure...pure bliss..:)

I sent my mother a voucher for a SpaExperience for Mother's day and she said she didn't know where or if she really wanted to have anything done!!! so she sent it me back and said I could use it myself. Oh humm...

~But.. I have had it 3 months now and I still havent used it ... but I have found a close spa that takes these vouchers and I have decided to go for a facial and back massage. I am looking forward to going now that I have decided :)

Congratulations!, funny, my 40th is on saturday and told my hubby i just wanted to spend it alone in one of the many hotel spas in paphos getting pampered. I,m one of those gals that has always done everything on myself, so ANYTHING would be a treat!.. however, with 50 reddies i,d go for the most indulgent, most expensive treatment on the menu (maybe a top to toe) if the cash reaches that far!, and have no guilty pangs into the bargain!.. let us know what you ended up having! xquote=hippy-chick;795635]If you had a gift voucher for £50, what would you spend it on?

do you know what I've gone and done!
only decided to go for a green tea abdominal treatment JUST SO I can compare it to what I have taught! (saddo).

Well remembered Cogsi, it IS the same place as the last choc treatment.
Unfortunately we can't go until end of the summer holls, so I've booked myself in tomorrow for a dermologica facial to keep me going.

Isn't that a waste of your voucher though? Would you not be lying there thinking about what she's doing, instead of relaxing?

Could you not pay for the green tea tmt yourself another time & put it through your books as 'market research'?

I tried to book it for tomorrow but its only available as a spa package, but I know what you mean.

despite you knowing how its done, its still a treat to have it done by someone else and not pick up the bill... enjoy:!:xx
