Trade magazines

This is a bit of a long shot, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any trade magazines (preferably free) that I can sign up to before starting my course? Just a little bit of reading to do before I start. Also, because I want to keep up with upcoming trends. My course offers extra courses on top and so it would be ideal to know which ones would be worth investing in to make me more employable when the time comes.

The only free hairdressing magazine I can think of is Professional Hairdresser.

Thank you for your reply, but I'm looking more for beauty. I guess free magazines is a longshot. It would just be some reading material for me before my course even starts, and also something to talk about during interview. Obviously, when I get onto the course and I'm practising I'm happy to pay, but for now, I'd just like something to dip my toes in.

Join some beauty sales/swaps pages on Facebook. I see a lot of trade mags up for sale for a lower price than they were new. Xx

Oh that's a good idea! I've signed up for some newsletters, but will try that too.

Look on eBay you might be able to buy past issues of scratch and your nails magazine

I think you can join Babtac for free as a student too- they send out a magazine called Vitality (i think anyway, its been a while since my student days!) have a look on their website xx
