Training help???

Dear All,

I am looking for a training course in London who will be able to take me from basics to a proffessional in nails.

I understand I need an NVQ3 in nails. I am looking to learn in a classroom with other students. I have a day job, therefore I can only do evenings and weekends. I plan to open up a nail shop after the training.

Some questions I have:
How long does it take to train to be a professional nail technician?
Which are the best schools in London, that offer eveing classes?
How much does it costs for the training from basic to proffessional?

Any help on this would be sincerely appreciated. :lol:

i have looked into The Creative Nail Academy they are brill. There is a school in london.

You dont have to have an nvq3 at all in fact very few colleges do nail courses at level 3 its more 2.
You can get insured with training from a good product company and its probably your best route.Many people who go to college find they then get more up to date and better training when they do a conversion course.
I did a conversion with Ezflow in Enfield which were very good and do offer full training and ongoing support but there are also others.OPI are in Watford and most others will have training in London somewhere.
Money for training really is ongoing espcially if you want to do all systems and keep up to date.Its a lovely job but to do it well and properly it is a lot of time and money and practice.

The CND course is fab and they have them all over the country. It is a five day course spread over approx 6 weeks so you may be able to fit that around your work? Everyone I spoke to advised that this was the best way. I have just completed the first 3 days of the course and now have 2 weeks to practice before I go back for the 4th day.
