Hi im in the process of writing my training manuals for accreditation in all aspects of Beauty. Has anyone already done this and if yes, can you give me some tips please?

I’m also in your shoes and would like some advice x

Me too. Just attempting to make my manuals.
Have no idea where to start myself xx

There is companies like the Guild who have their GTI courses which means you can pay a fee and use their manuals but if you prefer to write your own you can just go by your experience and put all the information together that you have gained over the years of doing the treatments. Just think what you found valuable when you started doing it and all the tips and tricks that you have learned over the years and then you can submit this to the accrediting body x

good luck! would love to read it!

how did you get on?
I have just submitted mine

I'm a qualified assessor and used to specialise in this. Particularly in making mainstream training accessible to disadvantaged people, which meant redesigning courses so they could be delivered by alternative methods to achieve the same outcome.

My advice is to have a very clear idea of what the objective is, the desired end result, and work backwards. This should stop you drifting off on a tangent unintentionally.
Design a clutter free format and stick to it. Imagine your trainee has limited language skills.
Break the subject down into small, chronological steps.
Use visual aids, diagrams, pictures etc.
Check your training covers and meets all objectives when complete.

That's brilliant advice. Taking that on board and looking through mine I have already changed a few bits.
