Hi all,

I am undertaking my training with CND but I am really interested in doing a nail art course also. I ahve been looking on sweet squared and I cant see that CND do nail art.

Who can I get nail art training with that will enable me to use those products after I have used CND to extend/overlay on the nail.

I hope this makes sense! I have searched on here but cant seem to find the answer - maybe just being blonde!

Thank you

Not sure what kind of nail art you mean? If it's the freehand stuff depending on how creative / artistic you are, you may not need a course. Do some googling, find some nail art that you like, as well as just photos you will find step by step tutorials for designs. Get yourself the necessary materials, paints/stripers/dotting tools etc & practice, practice, practice, you may suprise yourself & find you have a natural flair for it! One you get the hang
of basic strokes & are confident with your creative streak the world is your lobster!!!

If you mean art with acrylic & gel the only one I can comment on is the Young nails "imagination nail art" course, found it very inspiring & useful & make a lot of use of what I learnt even though I am not a YN user what they teach can be done with any system, they have educators all across the UK.

Hope this helps!

Are you thinking of nail art with acrylic or gel as in the different colours and glitters?
If so Ezflow offer some creative courses, not sure where you are i know nails &co in derbyshire and red10 nail bar in doncaster..or georgie smedley the london way(i think) Ezflow are a nationwide fantastic and reputable company check them out xx

I also suggest the young nails one, its fab!

Hi guys,

Sorry, I meant with acrylic and gel! Thank you for your opinions. Although I am taking my training soon Im still trying to figure stuff out!

I didnt realise that once you have training with any company for nail art (with acrylic/gel) that you could take those techniques and use with any system! Thats just what I wanted to hear as I was thinking I would need to use a different system for the art!

Just to put another spin on things here, I would advise that you spend a bit of time after your initial training getting proficient with working with your product.

You need to be doing kick ass fantastic nails before you want to be putting art on them.

Also check with your CND trainer as they may do 1 to 1 on art rather than having a specific course.

Also do you think there will be a market for nail art where you are.

Im not looking to do Art straight away after my training, I just wanted to clarify a few points so i know where to aim for.

I have done hand nail art for a few years and have always been commented on them in my local area and by several other people and they have quite often said they would love to have a design on their own nails.

Eventualy I would like to be able to offer my clients most services - which of course i know comes in time and not overnight!
