Hi, l am a newly qualified nail technician, l would like more training in nails, body massage etc.
I have researched local colleges etc no courses available that l would like to do- so thinking about Beauty Academy- what are your thoughts ? Courses either on line or face to face - day course then assignments, will this be a recognised qualification ?

Hi,
What is your nail tech qualification and which units did you attain?
Some units can be transferred onto your next course e.g. health & safety, client consultation & promoting services.
Personally I'd say go for a College course where you will achieve a recognised VRQ or NVQ even if you don't plan to carry out all the treatments you learn (and you never know, you might in the future). College will give you the tutor support with the theory and plenty of face to face practical experience on real clients.
Once you have this insurable qualification you can then do brand training which is often on line these days.
