Hi there: I have been promoting my mobile massage and beauty treatments on Facebook and have had a few messages off men asking about massage.
Now they could be genuine but at the same time it makes me feel a little uncomfortable and vulnerable.
Those of you who offer services such as massage on a mobile basis. What's your policy on treating men cx

Not beauty but am hair , I personally would not take on a male client alone , I would only offer a service if I was treating their wife or girlfriend and knew them , don't put yourself at risk x

I never offered it when I was mobile or when I worked on my own from home. I simply would say "I'm very sorry I don't take male clients".

Most are fine, some complain that my advert should say that. I would say yes, fair enough, but never changed it. Now I have a salon, we treat male clients but always ensure there's another therapist around.

There are quite a few threads on here discussing the pros and cons.

I work from home and I only take male clients in the evenings when either my hubby or son is at home.
I make out this is 'special' just for them.
I wouldn't treat men on my own, mobile or otherwise.

I'm mobile and I do not do men except the odd Brow wax/ mini manicure for husbands/ sons etc of existing clients.
