My client has booked a manicure and pedicure. I have a small beauty room so do manicures across the couch. I start my pedicure with a footsoak with client on chair and then move them to couch for rest of pedicure. If I do manicure first as I was trained do I am worried that they will smudge their nails getting onto the couch for the pedicure.

i have been to a salon once for both and they did everything lying down. it was lovely and relaxing - they started by doing my feet, soak and exfoliate, then i had the heaed boots on for ages, it was lush - while the boots were on they started the manicure etc - while heated mitts were on hands they finished off the pedicure. once that done my hands were ready to come out of mitts and be polished - or i guess you could do it all vice versa IYKWIM x
