Hi all - I'm a skin geek, seeking advice from the hair pros!

When I'm waxing/shaping clients eyebrows occasionally there will be hairs that need to remain in the brow but are a bit too long.

Can anyone advise how to trim the hair, so it doesnt end up sticking up i.e. angle of cut etc?

All advice gratefully received:), cheers, jtp

When you have done your qualifications, did they not do the threading?
I would suggest that you go on the course and learn the tricks. I have seen this done by brushing eye brows up and then cutting by the line that has been created by threading. This way the hair wont be too long and stick out of line.

JTP. Here's what I do. Brush the brows upwards and keeping them in place with my thumb, then cut them with pointed nail scissors so they are just above the line of the brow. THEN......before letting go with your thumb, then cut into the brows that you've just cut, so that they are slightly different lenghts. That way they won't look unatural. Also, never cut two brow hairs together as it will look like one thick hair.

I have moved this thread to skin geek as hair geek is for hair (as in hairdressers) questions.

Sorry for any confusion.
