i brought some chanel french tips they are airbrushed and as you do buff the shine of for the acrylic adhesion as light as you buff it the airbrush design files off i have also tried not buffing the shine off but all it does is peel afterwards and doesnt set?

any one got any advice?
thanks

I buff using a white block very lightly in one direction and only once until i have buffed the whole area, they don't look buffed at all but it gives the L&P something to hold onto,
hope that makes sense and helps

As loubylou say realy, lightly buff one way only and gently just so you are taking the shine off and giving the L&P something to hold onto.

I have a yellow block that is 240 and use that as sometimes the white block can be a little rough. HTH

i use gel but would buff pre designed tips with a white block buffer aswell

They are tips that have a pattern printed onto them, can be anything from pretty flowers to really out there patterns, some of them have designer logos on them too,
you apply the same as all tips and do your application, some can look great and others can look terrible hth

I have a pic in my album of pre designed tips, they are clear with lilac/purple butterflies on them.

Also some blue pre designed tips with white flowers on them.

Clar was with L&P overlay and the blue with Gel overlay. HTH
