does anyone run these, are they popular ?
would you be willing to share your packages (can pm me if you like)
im a makeup artist and manicurist and would like to run pamper parties with the emphasis on scaled down pampering beauty treatments ie. mini - facials, manicures, pedicures, makeup application and makeup lessons
i dont want to go down the road of doing full makeovers, with dance mats, karaoke machines etc .. just dont have the room to store it all - would the girls be happy to choose 2 treatments and maybe do some jewellery making, similar craft - could run a makeup or nail art design competition something like that .. just wondering if would be popular and what age group would appeal to most
i would also offer advice and tips on skin care, makeup and nails .. and to try and boost self esteem if needed
i was also thinking about investing in dressing gowns and headbands with my logo for younger girls to wear over their clothes - do you think this would appeal? still in the planning stages so any feedback on above or advice would be much appreciated!

Hi hun, I think they are a great idea. I do pamper parties with my friend (who is way more advanced than me with most things) She does the facials and I help her out with crowd control :) (adult parties) and once they are done she does the pedis and I do the manis. I've not done any kids parties with her yet but they are in the pipeline so I can't comment on how she does them. Her name on here is pinkren68 if you want to pm her, although I know she doesn't come on here a lot.

I think dressing gowns and headbands are a fab idea, but I think depending on how many parties you will be doing determines how many you will need as they will need to be washed in between parties, lol!

I would probably also decide with the mum (hostess) of the party what treatments you will do on the day in advance as then there will be no confusion and you can then just get on and do your thing without indecisive kiddies taking up your time.

Thing is, the ususal, K.I.S.S, you don't want to be giving yourself too much work to do!

Good luck sweetie. x

thanks redsadie!
thought you'd appreciate the jewellery making element - remembering you from hitched, lol
i just think are so many makeover parties out there - wanted to offer "real" mini treatments just like mum has, backed with good beauty advice and tips
- no offence meant to anyone who offers makeovers, i know the girls love them and they look real fun to do
also thinking about putting together skin care and makeup lessons and workshops for teens, and mother and daughter sessions - where mum and daughter can have a 1-1 lesson with me, or perhaps 3 sets of mums / daughters can have a group lesson and girly get together
yes, would obviously wash the dressing gowns in between each session - something else to consider! perhaps could ask them to bring their own and just supply headband which they could keep
thanks for your advice red
