Hi all - just a quick question to see if any of you have ever had difficulty bringing eyelash tweezers and adhesive (less than 100ml bottle) in hand luggage?
TIA

A friend of mine had tweezers taken off her on the way to Dublin a few years ago. They were the very pointed type...not sure if that's the norm though.

I have seen them taken off people in the queue in the airport I normally fly from (Cork) to be honest I wouldn't take the risk particularly if they are an expensive set.

In the eyes of the airport authorities, they could be seen to be a dangerous weapon, so pack them in hold luggage to be safe.

Thanks for the feedback. I might order a set online and have them delivered before I fly. Save the hassle.

They will stop you and they will embarrass you. It happened to my dad. He had the best ones ever, we all used them, he had had them for like 20 years. He didn't realise he had packed them and they binned them. He actually got really upset bless him!
