I have ordered ugg boots from www.ugg555.com on 28th dec. They took my money on the 2nd Jan.

They apparantly left Bejing on 7th. On their website, it says I should recieve them within 4-6days.

Has anyone else ordered boots from this site? I am getting desparate! I hope ive not been bumped!!!!!

Or am i being too impatient. I have emailed them twice, no response :cry::cry::cry::irked::irked:

Ok, i will stop with the faces now!! :D

if they only left beijing on the 7th then they could still be on their way. why they took nearly 2 weeks between ordering and delivery is beyond me. u sure they r real? x

Thats what I was wondering? (why they took so long to send)

They better be real! I searched for ages for a "reputable" site, this one says they are the registered site (or something like that)

I have a tracking number, but no new updates since the 7th.

I hope im just being impatient. I was expecting them beg of Jan!

You mean you didn't order them from Ugg Australia :Scared:

Don't be surprised if they are fake hun.... I hope you don't get ripped off

They may be held up in customs and if so you'll have to pay to get them

But it's still early days and I wouldn't panic just yet :wink2:

the website looks so good! i hope ive not been conned!!

the website does look good. good luck hun...x

Aww hun...hate to break the bad news but do a search on ugg555...its not good reading...:( also the authorized Ugg site has a list of the only authorized on line sellers... Official UGG Australia Site | UGG Boots, Slippers, Sandals, and Casuals including Women's Boots, Sheepskin Boots, Men's Boots, Espadrilles and Wedges

I got some great ugg type boots called Bear Paws ... they are real sheepskin...great quality...just not the "Ugg Brand"...which lets be honest is what you are paying for....you can get Bear Paws from TKMax and they are about £40

If they aren't on offical Ugg websites list of authorised retailers then they are fake.

Uggs are like ghds, you just can't get the real thing cheap, you might be lucky and find a classic pair with 10% off but unless you are getting the cardi style or certain colours then its full price im afraid, or fakes.

I spent about 3 hours on the net before xmas trying to find some cheap ones then my bf ended up buying a pair from a store near us that sells them but he got the wrong colour :smack: they were £180 so I wanted a dark colour to get my moneys worth but when we went back they'd only got the short ones in the colour I wanted. They had sold everything over xmas and apparently ugg limit the deliveries (not sure why) and one store I called didn't have another delivery booked until September !!!! I was so desperate for some I just had the short ones.

Bagpuss you are right it is the name but there is something about uggs that made me have to have a pair, never had any interest whatsoever until I tried my friends on and that was it I was hooked !

I ordered something that was shipped from China in December which took over a month to get here because of problems with the snow apparently - it meant that lots of overseas postal stuff was delayed.

That really is annoying!

But I just have to turn on the news and see the poor people in Haiti to put it into prospective.

(but i could still cry!).

I just hope any boots come now! no one will know they are fake and they will keep my feet warm.

Thanks for all you help

xxxx

hi. mine are fake uggs from china and i dont care. in fact mine are so good id never pay for real uggs now. no one knows mine are fake and iv had 2 years constant use out of them and they still look as good as new. lots of the airports have had to close due to the snow which must of caused delays with post coming into the uk so hopefully they will turn up:biggrin:

i got them today!!!! woohoo!!

a nice wee surprise for me coming home from work.

Dont know if they are fake, they certainly dont look it!

Think i might wear them to bed haha!:D:D
xxxxxx

I've been watching this post with interest as I'm waiting for a pair of UGGs to arrive which were ordered on the net.
I've been promised them for monday, so here's hoping :Scared:

what website was it? x

This is on the authentic Ugg Australia website but thought was worth a mention on this thread...

What is counterfeit and why is it wrong:

A counterfeit product is any imitation or fake made with the intent to deceive the consumer into believing it to be genuine.
Our goal is to help our customers to be aware of counterfeit footwear that is being sold to unsuspecting buyers as genuine UGG® Products.

Counterfeiting is illegal. It has a significant impact on the global economy, removing tens of thousands of jobs and costing the economy an estimated $512 Billion of legitimate revenue a year.

Counterfeiting is not a victimless crime. Consumers who believe they are purchasing genuine items are left with inferior items that cannot live up to the consumers expectations. Counterfeiters also hurt manufacturers, retailers, and the economy.

Counterfeiters do not pay taxes nor do they provide fair wages or benefits to their employees. They frequently use child labor and have been known to fund terrorism, participate in identity theft, and often fail to deliver goods that were paid for, among other crimes. When you purchase a counterfeit product, you are funding and supporting this criminal activity.
Counterfeiters are not accountable to human rights and environmental regulations such as child labor laws, anti-sweatshop laws, and restricted substances laws.

The basic human rights of the workers employed by these counterfeiters are often compromised, as well as the workmanship and quality of the counterfeited product.

Too true. I have real Uggs and have worn them almost every day for a year. They still look like new. I have friends who have fakes and they look awful. They still paid a lot of money for them too.

We also have this problem with GHD. I get sick of clients coming in and telling me about their 'bargain' GHDs. Tell me about your bargain after your house burns down!
I periodically hunt down the 'fake' websites and report them to GHD. I also got a local market trader closed down for his fakes.
If it's too good to be true, them it probably is. :)

I have to agree with the above post. When my daughter asked for her first pair of uggs I couldnt believe the cost. she got a classic black pair for Christmas 2007. I paid around £170, resentfully lol! She wears them literally almost everyday, including often for school and in the snow etc. Hand on heart - they still look like new. I sing Uggs praises from the roof now, they really were worth the money. She now has a second pair and I am thinking about getting myself a pair. Yes its a lot of money to shell out, but ..... I used to pay around £45 for a pair of Clarks school shoes that lasted a term.

Sometimes you are just paying for the name, but I do believe with Uggs, it's definitely the quality. These things just seem indestructable.
