I don't do lashes but I do know chemo makes your lashes weak and they can all fall out. She may find the lashes too heavy for her weak hairs so they may pull more out and if many of her natural lashes are missing it may actually highlight the fact that they are sparse. She may not realise that they have to be attached to her own lashes.
It basically says you may have to wait for re-growth, apply lighter lashes and the client may need to be shown how to apply strip lashes until there are enough hairs to attach extensions to.
People who have had chemotherapy can have very weak lashes for up to a year.
I would leave it 4 months after treatment and assess her natural lashes then.
She may want to use a lash tonic after treatment to stimulate growth. Lou x Posted via Mobile Device
I have a lady who gets strip lashes done with me for special occassions.
Although she is not undergoing chemo she has no hair growth at all due to a large amount of medications she is on. She sourced the lashes herself and they are for chemo patients. They are human hair and feel lovely they look fantastic on her. For her its like a complete makeover just getting the lashes on. Sorry cant remember the name of them, but im sure if you google false lashes for chemo patients you will find them.
