Hi Ladies

I need some urgant help, i have my sisters wedding coming up on thursday and ive got 3 spray tans to do tommorow for this wedding. Ive just gone to spray tan one of the ladies and my lotion is green  Its couture i dont know why it has done this its never done this before.

So im wondering should i still use it?

If its a big no no then is sunless solutions lotion good? or bad? As this is the only one i will be able to get tommorow

thank you x

The green in the solution is the base colour they use in it. It may be a silly question but have you checked the date on it? and given it a good shake?
I would be reluctant to use it. You could ring the company and see what they say.
Are you anywhere near me? Im not far from Wimbledon and could meet you and give you some of mine?
Couldnt tell you about sunless solution as i have never used it myself but sure some other geeks will let you know on here soon. xxx

Hiya, I gave it a shake yes didnt seem to make a difference. I didnt know there was a sell by date on it i didnt check for one?

Im not near you im in Essex but thanks so much for offering thats very sweet of you.xx

When I spoke to a fake bake trainer she said that she had seen solution go green before and that is because it has gone out of date and you should not use it. Don't know if it is the same for all companies though. x

It usually goes green when air gets to it over a period of time,
you can still use this however the person you spray will be green from the guide colour,
once they have washed the guide colour off they should be left with a normal looking tan, hth

if i was you though i would contact couture and see what they say as my advise is from the solution that i use.

Oh thats a bummer! Is there a local sallys near you? x

Loubylou - Thanks as i did spray tan the bride tonight she was fine as it was a very light colour but when i went to spray my other sister she wanted it darker it had a hint of green, and the lotion looks green/brown i suppose i could use it and if goes very wrong could bath it off with nivea

Kylieb - No i dont have sallys near me, i have capital beauty and they sell sunless solutions and michelle porter tan

Generally speaking a green tinge is simply a sign that moisture has gotten to the solution..possibly cap left not fully tightened etc.....and generally speaking the tan will still develop fine so I wouldn't worry to much.

Green solution being a sign that a solution has gone past its sell by date is not necessarily the case.

where abouts in Essex are you? I am in Basildon and I have some sample solutions from Naturasun that you are welcome to use if it gets you out of trouble

Im not near basildon :irked: But thank you for your offer.

Thanks for all your help, i have decided to try it out on my mum, give it a good shake and then wash guide colour off next day. With fingers crossed

x

If the test goes too green ill go down there and get some. Does it give an orange tint or tanned?

Not orange, very natural looking, (unless of course you use the wrong % solution)

Am going to add a pic to my profile of two of my ladies so you can see the colour they went after thier tan!

If the tan has a green tinge its off!! Dont use it especially for a wedding, I agree with Toni Lee try sunless solutions its lovely xx
