Use By Date

Just wondered if there is a "best before" for gel, or if it degrades over time?

Also same question for Shellac? x

Normally there are two criteria which vary by manufacturer:

Date of Expiry from Manufacture - for example with our gels this is 3 years
Use By Once Opened (may be shown by a picture of a jar with a number inside) : again as an example for our gels we state 24 months (jar picture has '24M' inside)

Of course, this assumes you store the gel as advised - not more than 25 degC and with lid closed.

What happens to them after that time i.e.. do they just go thick but still ok to use or more likely to peel off the nail???
