Hi all:)
I recently did a course on uv gel nails (that is the gel tips/hard gel). However, they never showed us how to put colour on the nail or design the nail, it was all focused on getting the tip on and doing the hard gel etc. So im now wondering what do i use to put colour on the nail after u have done a gel nail... normal polish, gel polish or the coloured tubs? Thanks

You can use all three, after sculpting, file and buffer..then you can use your gel polish, color gel, or nail polish. The most economic one is regular nail polish, because it's cheapest option and also last very long on enhancements.

Thanks for your reply. I wonder does it give a better result if you use a gel colour though? And then if you want to do nail art also..

Not really.

NailArt has been done for 30 years on top of polish before gel polishes came into the market.

If using polish it is much easier to use one that dries really quickly. The quickest polish for drying and the newest on the market is VINYLUX from CND.
Fully dry in 8.5 minutes.

Your nail art is going to cost a bomb if the client is paying for nails, UV gel colour and then the nail art too. Just as nice done with polish, less time consuming and less bulky.
