I have a really bad nail bitter coming in end of this week - no free edge so nowhere to put the form - Im thinking of putting a little oil under where the free edge should be then butting it with the clear gel to natural nail to create a free edge, 30 second cure then use my cuticle tool to lift the new free edge from the skin then this will create a free edge then two coats of clear gel all over nail bed to free edge? The customers wishes clear and no colours. I have went through a lot of postings on the site for nail biters but would like to double check this will work for calgel?

Thanks for your help!

I would ring calgel and see what they suggest.Im not sure it would look very nice with just the clear gel and without a form as its a runny gel i dont even think it would work.
I think i would use a tip, keep them very short and use cream for the tip and clear. She will need to come back for maintenence quite quickly and be aware that extreme nail biters especially like to chew off calgel.

Thanks for the reply - before I posted I thought about calling Calgel - I think thats exactly what I will do - I was trying to talk her into a colour as I know the clear wont be anything special especially for a nail bitter they can really still see that nail!!! Thanks will call them and see what they say and let you know just in case anyone else comes across this.

Many thanks

Isabel
