I've just copied this from a different thread as it was going off topic.

That's what i thought, i'm confused now. Why do some salon geek members promote certain brands then use something else. It sends out a confusing message to geeks who look to this site for advice.

I was actually wondering what I'll have to do about this. I've just recently trained with Flirties(which was great) but I can't say I'm enjoying the loose lashes. I've ordered a wee pack of Mink lashes from ABX which come on a strip. Looks like most of their lashes come ready stripped up which is great for mobile. So if I decided I liked those lashes better and started using them, I'd have to change my website. But I haven't trained with them and only using their lashes.

What would you do?

I completely understand where your coming from with this question but I'm not sure if I can answer it totally.
I can give you an example. In my make up kit I have the brand I trained with & I use primarily (this is the one I put on my website) but I have product favorites from leading companies that I couldn't live without (I don't put on my website) because I don't have a whole range and they don't provide some sort of training to use their products.
I think it is ok to use other brands and mix and match as long as your providing a quality treatment.
Also remember brands/companies that do have training/qualifications will have a procedure or system to their products and that is what makes them unique to similar brands/companies.
Give them a call and see what they recommend you do.
I hope this has helped & sorry if it's confusing at all.

I have just responded to that particular post, i feel that the remark was personal and not meant to help anyone. I dont see anything wrong with using the strip lashes and like beautymetoyou says i am the same withmy makeup kit, i have a very large base of artdeco and i have alot of other things i have added to it.

i have no problem using the loose lashes i just prefer to have them on strips already. You dont need to change your website you give any of the trainers a call and they will answer all your questions, I personally feel this person who ever she is has a problem.

I'm very sorry I do not have a problem at all, i just find it confusing that you say Flirties Flirties Flirties but don't use there lashes lol

well yes you will find that i do use flirties lashes my clients love the lashes i do and if you do a search you will see its not just about the lashes used its about the glue, the technique and the practice. :)

I'm sure it is, well i'll keep looking until i decide who to go with. Thanks for the pm by the way and just to assure you i'm definately not watching your posts specifically, i've just been reading eyelash extension threads instead of posting new questions and you always seem to answer. By the way I'm definately not the lash police like you questioned in your blog. I just come on here to get help which i thought the site was about.
Good Night.
