Using feathers in gel..

Hello, i have recently invested in some bio sculpture feathers to put into the nail as nail art...
But i tried it for the first time on toes ... One nail stayed but the other just would not co-operate and kept lifting up when trying the place the feather onto the uncured gel...
Anyone have any tips on best way to apply feathers and the sequence they use? X

If any one is interested... I have found out and successfully done feathers in gel..
After thesecond application of gel where the gel is still sticky i applied the feather.. Then dabbed it with clear gel (like a silk repair) thn cured, then removed tacky layer then sgel and built the upper arch.
Just like the sequence for a silk nail repair x
