UV Lamp Help!!

Hi all,

My name is Michelle and I am new to the Nail industry. I trained in October last year and have been practicing on friends and family ever since, just starting to do friends of friends. I am mobile and am enjoying it very much. I am now staring to have problems curing. It started when my lamp, which has 4 9w bulbs, wouldnt fully cure my extreme white gel when doing a french finish. Now it doesnt seem to be curing very well at all. My question is have a got a cheap Lamp ( I think it cost about £30) or am i buying cheap bulbs (only about 1.89 online). Surely they should last longer that 4 months of occassional use???? :cry:

Any help would be great.

It is important that you use the the lamp recommended for your system.

You will also need to buy your bulbs from your supplier, it really is unadvisable to just buy lamps off the internet. UV output has nothing to do with the wattage of the bulbs, it may help you to read this

Thanks for that. I specifically choose the lamp i have as it was the same one i used in my training. The one the beauty accadamy sell (who i did my training with) says it is a 36w 4x9w bulb.

What lamp do Magnetic recommend for their gel?
