Hi

I am starting a gel nail course and would like to know which is the best lamp to buy apart from obvious reasons. 9w or 36w. I would really appreciate some info and help.

hi hun,

i am not a gel tech but liquid and poweder tech - but i have read loads of post on here about the right lamp! (seems to be a common question - if you do a search you will be able to find some of the threads!) who are you doing your training with they should be able to advise you off the correct wattage output lamp. you need to make sure you buy the right one to make sure your nails will be cured properly and perfectly! HTH hun!

Exactly as Jodie says, you need to buy the correct lamp to go with the system you are using. It's the UV output which is important and even though two lamps have the same wattage, the probably have different UV output. You must use the correct one or you may have undercured product which will lead to service breakdown and possible allergy in your client.

Thanks very much for that x
