hi ive been putting glaze n go over arcylic but run out so brought some ibd intense seal but after curing some nails have little raised bumps which have to be filed of then i have to reapply i wipe nails over with cleanse before i put ibd on any ideas where im going wrong :irked:

there was a thread about this ages ago...i'll dig it out for you. Basically lots of people had the same problem with it....are they like little spikes...?.....if so i don't think its anything you are doing...just that it tends to to do this for some reason.

thanks for reply yes they are and its a pain is there any other make thats good that i can try xx

I had one bottle that did this and the new one I have is fine.... if it is going to happen to me it is always on the clients thumb.... i tend to think the client turns their nails on the side and the intense seal starts to run at the same time it starts to cure...
I am def going to read the above post too.

thanks for that i try another make as its so annoying x

i find it happens on fingers more i thought it was my bottle so i took it back and they gave me a new bottle but it still happens xx

how was Glaze and Go....? cant you get some more of that if it works ok...? i have never tried it.

or there are top glosses that come in a pot ... i use Akzentz top gloss and it can be used over L&P as long as its applied over a 240 finish....

I believe the 'spiking' as it is called is due to dust particles left from the filing or imperfect application.
I tend to prefer using the 'nsi' glaze n go, it doesn't spike and you don't have to cleanse it once it has cured. Superb long lasting shine, a great product.
hth:)

yes i do use glaze n go but my shop didnt have any in stock and i needed some im doing ez flow course end of sept so was thinking of trying their finish it do you know what that is like xx

Are you doing l & p or gel with Ezflow?

I love ezflows gel it but regards too finish it , but i must admit i do prefer nsi glaze n go ....i had the same problem with finish it a few times, but i have never had any problems with glaze n go...hth

I've had a bottle of this kicking around for a while and started using it this week as I'd run out of Brisa Finishing Gloss. I think the main thing with IBD, compared with other sealants, is that you need to work VERY thin with it,otherwise you get the spikes and problems with pooling. I did the thinnest layer and it seemed to sort it. But it sure is SHINY! :green:

I love the IBD Intense Seal, I find that it does that when i apply too much of it. Try to apply it as thinly as possible and you shouldn't have any problems.

Despite loving all Ezflow products, I prefer using 'nsi' glaze n go as I found the 'finish it' did suffer some spiking.

thanks i try putting it on thinner on next set i do and fingers crossed that will be ok as it has a great shine to it xx

i would say that some nail wipe fibers or dust got onto the nail or gloss brush before you cured it, then when you took it out, you will have bumps, just make sure all is cleansed and your brush has no hairs etc. that'l fix it...
