Hi All,

Just wondered what packages people are doing for valentines & for what kind of prices. And is it worth giving them a rose or something? hmmm xx

Oh dear, I havent even thought about this yet!:irked:
Guess I should get my thinking cap on, I cant believe how quickly this month has gone!!!

Last year I did;
For her;
American wax with bikini gems - £20
For her or him;
Back massage and indian head massage - £25 (I think this was what I did will check to confirm)

I also added on the bottom of my posters; "Special offers can be made into gift vouchers as the perfect valentine gift!"

Not sure what to do this year but will definatly do the "for him" and "for her or him" offers.

Personally I wouldnt give a rose, (but each to their own) a few years ago for easter I made little organza bags filled with mini easter eggs and a 10% discount card, how about doing bags filled with little chocolate hearts, or love hearts (you can even get these made with your salons details on them). I got these made for my sisters hen weekend and night favour bags! from www.choccomoo.co.uk - just an idea!!

I will keep my eye on this thread to see what other ideas our fellow geeks come up with - great thread!

Love Emma x:hug:x

I haven't started on this years yet, but last year I put this package together which went rather well:

Chocolate & Rose Package
*Smoothing Chocolate Vanilla Exfoliating Body Scrub
*Anti-Ageing Chocolate Facial
*Indulgent Chocolate & Roses Back, Neck & Shoulders Massage
*Stress Busting Head, Neck & Shoulder Massage

To be honest, in the winter months, well from November to April, any package with chocolate themed treatments do well. Chocolate lends itself well to sooo many occasions - run up to Christmas; Valentine's; Mother's Day & then of course Easter.

We actually have 6 months of chocolate themed packages but each one is slightly different to encourage more clients to try them out :)

I've put together a cheeky couples intimate waxing package! Check it out on my website Pamper Me - Home I only hope I managed to word it properly!!!!!! Lol

Thanks guys that really helps. That chocomoo website is fantastic!! Just wondered, if i wanted to do like a chocolate massage...where would i get the stuff from to do? What kind of medium do i use if that makes sense lol xx

yes the chocolate sounds fab, whatabout a few valantines night out packages where they would be papmered ti look fab for going out, things like a tan, lash tint/perm, manicure/polish etc

Does anyone know where i can buy some chocolate related products from?

Just had a look through some beauty catalogues for you and ellisons do chocobeauty orange massage cream 500g - £26.50 www.ellisons.co.uk they have arange of chocobeauty face and beauty products!

Maybe also try googling chocolate massage oil/ cream.

Hope that helps :)

You can do chocolate treatments with Gerard's or Algolgoie, or also Germaine de cappucini.

But, before I used Gerard's I bought some chocolate infused oil that I bought from fleabay, mixed it with some mandarin or rose and did a chocolate orange massage or a turkish delight massage. I also bought some chocolate fragrance from a soap retailer and added a drop to the towels and placed them in my towel cabi so that they really got the chocolate essence wafting through and burn't a chocolate candle.

My Valentine's Specials will be

1. chocolate facial or chocolate massage or chocolate wrap

2. or book a chocolate facial, massage and wrap for reduced rate.

3. Oriental Face Massage and Thai Foot Massage

You beat me to it Ann, lol
I do similar things as suggested to enhance the chocolate experience.

You can aslo buy some chocolate bits from Salonserve.

as a customer I'd want a "look good naked" type package! spray tan, eyelash tint and bikini wax are things i'm looking into booking for myself for valentines!

"look good naked" is a good idea for a name of package!
However the above treatments would have to be done over a couple of days as you need to wait 24hours after waxing to do a spray tan!
