I can only guess that it's to help a treatment penetrate deeper. But all I can think is, "sht she's gonna get an electric shock" [emoji298]️[emoji43]
Would that no cause beading ?:confused:

Possibly, Someone I know bought a steam straightener it looked really good until I did research,when you see beading under a microscope its horrifying. I make sure my blowdrys are completely dry now before heat tools!
 
Thanks for sharing this information. I honestly thought that steam was the least damaging, you learn something everyday!
