Hi Skin geeks. Im popping over from the Hair section in search of some advice. Years of standing on my feet for 10 hours a day and 2 prettu massive babies have left me with horrendous varicose veins and I was looking for some advice on what I can do about them.
They ache a fair bit but the main problem is cosmetic. They look vile! I dont want to show them at all.....and wearing socks with my sandals is NOT an option (at least for another 30 years anyway :wink2:)
Any advice would be very much appreciated!

have you been to see your GP? Massage could help to ease the appearance a little but I dount it would make much of a difference to be honest and im not really aware of any product on the retail market to ease them. I know that if theyre really bad the doctor can have them removed but support tights are a really good way to improve circulation! Hope this helps xx

thanks for replying, My GP says theyre not ulcerous so he wont do anything :irked:. Ive tried support tights, topical Vitamin K, excercise, massage etc but I swear theyre are just getting worse. I dont really want to go the surgury route just yet.... would any sort of electrolisis help?
xx

You don't have to have surgery. My clients had hers injected with a foam that made them deflate.

Really? Would I have this done through my GP or through a skin specialist privately?
Thanks for your replies ladies :)
