Hi there

After doing my nails with fabric and clear tips they looked great, lovely and shiney. However, when I wanted to put varnish on they were too shiney if you know what I mean, didn't want to buff the shine off just to apply nail varnish. Is there any base coat which would help the varnish adhere better?

I always use Stickey Base Coat which leaves a finish like suede on that shiney surface. The prefect prep for enamel colour. I thought you would have tried this base coat. Never found a finer one.

Thanks for your replies to both queries, no I haven't tried stickey base coat but will if it does the trick.

I dont ever have a problem getting base coat/nail polish to adhere over the shiny surface of fibreglass wraps.

Hiya

I also use Stickey Base Coat with fabric it prepares the nail great for varnish and then finish off with super shiney (job done) :)

Take care Dawnie xx
