vat on training

hi just want to clarify, in ireland we dont pay vat on training, in Northern ireland any training ive done theres no vat, ive enquired about hd brows and theres vat, this the norm???

high definition brow, a course that is being mentioned on this a lot, vene the posts under mine here mention it, google it either

Hi Jennifer

It isnt a case of should VAT be charged on training or not - it all depends on the VAT status of the company providing the training.

If the company proividing the training is VAT registered themselves then they must charge VAT and if they are not VAT registered themselves then they must not charge VAT - this is the same in Ireland and NI.
