velocity tips...

hi
do i need to blend the clear velocity tips?or cut out some of the contact area... i am putting a coloured acrylic on the tips will the line dissapear under clear acrylic or should i blend them in??? any advice on these would be great as i have never used the tips before or the coloured acrylic...

when i use clear tips i always still blend them in but it is personal choice in this case some people do some dont.
