Vinylux-Mood ring nails?

Hi lovely geeks, has anyone tried/had any luck creating a mood ring nail with Vinylux?

Try this:

1 thin, even layer of Dark Dahlia
Left side very thin Purple Purple
Right side very thin Tutti Frutti
Center very thin Limeade

Mix additive Violet Shimmer into Vinylux Beau- work quickly as it will dry fast!

Apply even layer of additive/beau mix

Topcoat.

I am guessing, I haven't tried it yet- so let me know how it turns out!

I think I have created something similar to the mood ring. I did two coats of Blackpool Vinylux, let it dry for about 3 mins. Then I dabbed a dry art brush into Violet Pearl, Pink Gold Sparkle and Green Gold Sparkle and patted onto the nail, then brushed off the excess. It looks pretty good. I do want to have another go of it, though.

I've taken a pic of my 'mood ring' nails but it doesn't do the nails justice. Way prettier in real life.
