Hey All! I know this may sound like a silly question but is there anything you tanning geeks find useful for removing tan?
I sprayed a girl last night and text me this morning to say the tips of her fingers are very dark.. So she was obviously touching her skin. But im just wondering if you have any secrets on how to get it off?
thanks

Oh good idea.. I'll text her and tell her to try that! thanks emily

Oh isnt it frustrating when they do that and ask us how it has happened! lol

Well i stumbled upon my spray tanning secret by an embarrassing accident!

really dont want to go into detail but Jolene facial bleach works a treat!!! you can imagine what happened!!!!!!!! nice white top lip and brown face!!!!!!!!

Take Care, hope this helps

I had a client in just today who was talking about the same thing. Our Mancine Summer Tan used to have on the bottle to remove with Windex (Window cleaner -think My Big Fat Greek Wedding!)
Can't say I've tried it myself but my client swore it worked a treat.
Don't you hate the tan on the fingers?

i hate when that happens if you use a liquid tan then you end up spilling a tiny bit on to your fingers ha

antibacterial wipes work or ive recently found detol floor wipes work best. mine are always full of tan off spillages and im pregnant so hate the smell of gloves.
hope this helps x

Lemon and pineapple juice mixed together, as the enzyme in a pineapple called bromelain acts as a chemical exfoliator.

i'm always staining my hands too when i spray myself.. oops so ill be trying a few myself!
thanks again everyone xx

Buff wipes are ideal to have in the salon or your bag if your mobile.
Great for not only removing tans on hands etc but also very useful for pre tan prp where clients haven't exfoliated properly.

also something with papain in (papaya enzyme|) works well too. My facial exfoliator contains bromelain and papain, FAB.
