Hi Guys, i just found this on youtube, this person is using CND on all her videos, she has a channel on there stating she is not a pro and a disclaimer about her products? Is this legal? Also there is a websight selling stuff not CND but is connected with the channel the websight is called myglitternails as is the channel on youtube? Just thaught id let you guys know incase someone wants to do anything about it xxx

You can buy CND products on ebay, so their not hard to get hold of.

I love that girl! Not a pro, but she has some very inovative techniques and is a better teacher than most of my instructors were!
As far as product goes, CND is the one to take that up, but if she bought it legally, there's not much that can be done. It is way too easy to buy stuff on the net. Half the distributors that I looked into either did not require a license or didn't check on my license to see if it was valid before selling to me. That bothers me, but it is up to the manufacturer to do something about. I just do my best to make sure that I buy from distributors that sell only to licensed pros and check the license. If they don't, I just move on.
And as far as her selling the stuff. As long as she buys it and pays for it, she can sell it to whomever she pleases. It's called free enterprise.

I have seen CND products (the restricted ones) for sale on websites.

I agree there's always the ones that get it out no matter how much the distributers does. And in some countries some of the big names can be purchased legally without any qualification. Here in Denmark no pro wanna use Ez-flow because the distributor sells to anyone, and sells it as DYI kits, sad but true... (it's only last year they started teaching in Ez-flow, but still sells to everybody though)

But regarding the girl, I don't know which l&p products she uses, but the primer, nailfresh etc could be bought with another qualification???

And as much as I don't like the ones that DYI, and I certainly don't like the finished look on some of her nails (not great finish, thickness etc) I like the fact that she's actually giving right information (in the ones I saw) She does know a bit about what to do and what not, so she is not he worst I have seen, and yes I too have seen vids from people who should be educated, and gives out worse advise.

What I don't like is that she sells to uneducated people, but as said nothing much you can do unfortunately.
