I got some lovely water decals and did my Gelez Trugel and before top coat buffed the colour layer, popped the decal on top of the water and peeled and stuck. Added top coat. But within 2 days my client said it had kind of bubbled and peeled off. Gutted as they looked gorgeous, can anyone shed any light on why this failed? x

The only thing I can think of is if you didn't quite get them totally flat before gel or if they weren't fully dry before your gel top coat so the water hasnt allowed your gel to set correctly. Probably air bubbles under the gel??
xx

I would have put the decal straight over te straight layer

do you mean top layer?

I find that once you wet them and get them off it's best to dry them a bit before applying and dab off any excess water before applying top coat :)
