ahhh my wax pot spilt all over my car seats, but no only that my new underwear:cry:i washed them twice now it anit coming out, any other idears please :(

No !!!!! What a nightmare. I think you're best to get a professional cleaning company to do it. xxx

dont put melted wax on your car seats in the first place?!

i did it in my boot once which was bad enough. u need a plastic crate with a lid to contain any spills.

cant help with gettin rid of it tho, sorry.

Oh no, no words of wisdom just wanted to say hope you manage to get it sorted!! This is one of the reasons why i chose to use phd. xx

When i spill wax on my CREAM carpet in my treatment room (I'm in my spare bedroom the now waiting on garage conversion... Nightmare) I pour some jasmine oil on to it and massage it in which should lift the wax but leave a nice oily stain which can be removed with a product which lifts grease marks off clothes (can't remember the name but you get it everywhere!)

Don't know about the practicality of a large area but this works for me on the few occasions i do drop something.

Other geeks will tell you my carpet looks as good as!

I get wax off my clothes with wax equipment cleaner but its a bit of an if all else fails measure cos wax equipment cleaner is a bit vicious so its only a final straw option for clothing... Poor you.
Sorry I aint a lot of help. xxx

just i left it on my back seat, and i never do it, i just sorting my car out then i had a phone call!!! then i had to go somewhere and i just forgot about my wax pot :(

All my la senza underwear :(

I was going to ask what your underwear was doing on the back seat:wink2:

Do you have seat covers on? It might be cheaper and easier to get a new seat cover if you do. Otherwise, I would think professional cleaning may be the best option.

Was it hot wax or strip? Hot wax, you might be able to get it out with a hot iron. I'm not sure how, but someone told me about this a while ago when I spilled wax on my new shirt

i would cut my losses with the underwear and bin them and like kim has mentioned a pro company to get the wax from your seats.

i wouldnt put it there again i would make sure you have it wedged somewhere. normally the passenger side foot space is pretty good for placing it.

hope you get it sorted hun !!

For fabrics, you could try using a muslin wax strip - place it over the wax spill and use a hot iron to go over it a few times. (works great when I get strip wax on my uniform, it just comes straight off onto the strip.)

they been in the wash about 5times now!

It seems to be working, if not i do the iron thing, :) i dont wanna bin over £60 of underwear lol:lol:

thanks for the advice,

for my car i got blue cotton seats, so i gonna have to get new ones :)

i done it i use boiling hot water and few drops of wax cleaner:)
