Hello,

does anybody have experience in wax bonds in hair extensions?
For example this salon sells beeswax pellets for extension:
Hair Extensions | Magdalena Hair Extensions - Accessories

How beeswax will be removed from hair?

What wax usually hair extensions are?

Hi, I think these are just normal fusion bonding pellets
they just look like beeswax in colour , hence the name,
all things sell better with a fancy name ,

I think it would be very hard to apply hair extensions with beeswax
all on its own,
I have never heard of using it for hair extension applications, as it simply wouldnt last

A lot of bonds are called wax bonds but they are not usually made from wax at all they just look like a kind of wax ,

some of them may contain a teeny amount of certain wax
for one reason or another
or they may add it , so they can call them wax bonds :)

Wouldn't actually wax based bonds be easy to remove from hair?
Keratin/glue is painfull to remove.

Does these wax bonds exists?

Hi,
I think they exist but they wouldnt consist of beeswax only ,
as this would be like using candle wax to apply your extensions,
it wouldnt work ,

also if your extensionist is fully qualified then
no product should be painful upon removal

are you sure the hair extensionist you are using is fully qualified ?
I would ask to see her diplomas,

as it shouldnt really cause you any pain ,

I would also email this company and ask them exactly what these bees wax bonds are actually made from before your hairdresser uses them ,
hope this helps :)
