Hi waxers :D

I'm worried this is going to sound stupid but hey ho here i go anyway...

Can anybody advise me on how they use these big 800g tins of wax... do you have a big heater that they fit into? (would they fit into an ordinary 1000cc heater?)

At the moment i have this satin smooth double heater but am willing to buy a new one as long as i know it's accomodate the big tins for example perron rigot or adam and eve.

what heaters do all of you use?

thanks in advance :)

I have a standard 1000cc heater and the PR tins fit in fine. It is a DEO digital heater. Like this:

I'm about to start our waxing unit at college and I'm looking for a kit. I've had a look at that heater and it looks good. If I go for PR wax - say the Cristal Ocean - would I pour to wax into the unit or do you simply place the actual tin in the unit. Not started yet so excuse my ignorance!

Ugg73 - You put the tin straight into it (or if you want you can use the bucket that comes with it - DEO 1000cc Inner Wax Bucket).
I love the ease of PR tins & how you can put the lids on them.
