Help I just did an eyebrow wax and the wax didn't stick to some of the hairs. Could this be because I didn't put powder on her??? Help please

Possibly if you put too much wax on or if you didn't press the wax onto the brow properly before removal. I wouldn't worry about it though, you'll be fine next time! :D

Your wax was too cool. When we do brows, because only a small amount of wax is needed, you have to work quickly, or else the wax is set before you apply it. Take you wax from the wall of the heater where it's warmest and get it on there quickly. xx

I didn't just have this trouble this one time the last three times, and the common denomonator is that they were all acne skin so I was thinking that is the problem and that I need to pull the skin taught when applying it. Afterwards I tried it on my daughter and it work better but still not perfect.

When cleansing with pre wax are you ensuring that you aren't leaving the skin damp? Are the clients on medication?because some treatments leave a residue that is very hard to remove,ie for ezcema.

When applying your wax try applying a bit of pressure, and give the strip a really firm press so there is good contact,if you are using hot/non strip wax press firmly on the wax to get good adhesion.HTH

If their skin is oily, then cleanse, pat dry and don't apply oil underneath. xx
