Hi, I waxed my legs today and about one third of the hairs were broken or better to say cut from the surface instead of coming out of the root!!! It will be a disaster if it happens to a client coz they were a lot and it was not possible to tweeze them, and besides they were so short about 1mm and it was not easy to see them or remove them.

Has it ever happen to you? Does anyone know why it happened? Was it me doing something wrong or was it the wax, or my skin?

I should mention that I have a very dry skin on my legs and I usually just shave. The wax was Just Wax Hon-E Wax Carton which is a strip wax.

Any idea what was the reason???
I will appreciate your help.

i wax my own legs aswell and find this happens some times aswell. its mainly the angle in which you are pulling off the strips that are making the hairs snap off, you just realy need to make sure you raelly pull the strip towards you as appose to upwars, hope this helps.

Oh thanks, what a relief to know it happens to others as well! so I suppose it's not the wax then...
