Waxing question ~ it's not my profession

Hi ~ I was just wanting to know if someone can help me, I've been having my brows waxed at the same place for ages and this time when it was done in skin under brow had stayed very red and an slightly puffy. It's not been painful or itchy and today I've notice while putting my makeup on the skin in that area is now dry and slightly crusty looking with my foundation over it.
What's gone wrong this time, she has not changed her products so
what could be the reason for it ?

She may of let left the wax on too long or it was too hot for your skin and may of burnt, xxx hope that helps xx
