Hi All

Intrested on what you all like to use prior to waxing so it doesn't stick to skin as much... Oils or talc?

Intimate waxing : do you like to use strip or nonstrip with talc or oil.. And what product and most cost effective do you find that works best for yourself and your clients??...

Hi

I personally don't use oil or talc under warm wax unless the skin is very dry. Recently I started using Berins Ease and I find it all comes off and doesn't leave a sticky residue.

For intimate waxing and hard waxing in general I use oil. I'm currently using Berins Blue and Jet Set, with Jasmine Oil. Have tried pretty much everything on the market.

'Cost effective' is an interesting point as often the premium brands, which obviously cost more, are more economical in their use. Hope that helps

I never use talc. I use Perron Rigot Jasmine Oil for intimate waxing and on sensitive area. I only really use oil on the legs if the client has dry skin or they are cold. xxx

I'm fully booked now before Christmas but I will be training in Scotland in the early part of 2009 and later again in the year, so please keep in touch.

Can you suggest three areas in the North, South and middle of Scotland as I want to make them easy for everyone to get to? Cheers. xxx

Generally speaking the most cost effective and comfortable methods would be to be a strip wax for larger areas and a non strip wax for intricate work or intimate areas where the hair is more difficult to remove.

The use of a good grade oil will most certainly assist with the prevention of wax residue sticking to the skin.

There are many brands out there however the more expensive ones don't necessarily cost much more as economy of use brings the costs per treatment down considerably and in many cases more comfort for the customer.

I use Clean and Easy sensitive wax on legs, and Euroblonde and oil on bikinis and underarms.
I still get performance anxiety when faced with brazilians!
